Additional mail settings
Sometimes additional permissions and settings are required for everything to work. Gmail requires you to let third-party applications connect to your mailbox.
If this setting is disabled, then it won't be possible to send an email- when you try to do this, a service message with an error will pop up.
How to let an app connect to Gmail
Open your browser and sign in to your Google account.

Go to the help center and click on the corresponding link to open the access control page. Here is the address: https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps.

In the opened window, move the selector to let the connection.

If Google has blocked the connection
Even after you have permitted third-party applications to connect, Google can deny access - you need to confirm that it is you who are requesting it.
Attention! Make sure to grant access to your application. Proceed to this section only after you have completely configured the form for sending an e-mail and tried to send an email.
Permitting the connection
Log into your Google account. See if there are security notices on the homepage and go through them.

If you find a message about a blocked connection, confirm that you are the one who tried to connect.

UnlockCaptcha
Go to https://accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha and confirm that you are allowing access to your email to the application that recently tried to connect.

Follow the instructions and build your application here.
FAQ
Your mail provider publishes the SMTP host, port, encryption method, username, and password rules in its account or help pages. Search for the provider name plus “SMTP settings” if you cannot find them.
Gmail does not accept the old “less secure app” option anymore. Use an app password when your Google account supports it, or set up the modern sign-in method required by your app.
Google may block a first connection when it looks unusual. First complete the mail form settings and send a test message, then review the security alert in the same Google account.
An app password is a separate password that Google creates for a mail app. It lets the app send mail without using your normal Google account password.
Turn on two-step verification in your Google account, then open the App passwords section and create one for the mail connection. Copy it when Google shows it, because you may not see it again.
Use the SMTP username and app password exactly as Gmail provides them. A typo, missing encryption setting, or wrong port can prevent delivery even when the account details are correct.
Start with the SMTP host, port, encryption type, username, and password or token. Your provider may also require you to verify the sender address or approve the connection.
Send a test email after saving the settings. Check the app error message and the mailbox’s spam folder, then confirm that the sender address matches the account you configured.
A blocked connection means Google or the mail provider rejected the sign-in attempt. Open the account security notices, confirm any valid attempt, and try again after checking the SMTP details.
Yes. The same setup process works with most mail services, but each provider uses its own server address, ports, authentication rules, and security requirements.
