GrapeCity Announces ComponentOne 2023 v1 with New WinForms and WPF Features

GrapeCity, a leading developer of enterprise software solutions, has unveiled their first major software launch of 2023, ComponentOne 2023 v1. The update introduces several new features and enhancements, including a multi-column combobox for the WinForms edition, additional gauges for the WPF edition, and expanded GeoJSON support for map integration.

A standout feature of this release is the C1MultiColumnCombo, a multi-column dropdown control that provides support for data binding, searching, filtering, highlighting, selection, and data sorting. This .NET 6 library can also be utilized in both .NET 6 and 7 applications, offering flexibility and compatibility to developers.

ComponentOne 2023 v1 enables WinForms and WPF developers to implement shapes on maps using GeoJSON files. This expansion of GeoJSON support includes points that allow .NET developers to include addresses and locations, line strings representing streets and boundaries, and polygons marking political borders of countries and provinces.

Additionally, the ComponentOne team has revamped the WPF gauges library, introducing new controls for .NET 6 that focus on providing user-friendly, clean, and modern designs. Developers working with the C1.WPF.Gauge library can use three components for general horizontal, vertical, curved, and bullet graph gauges, with automatic display of ranges and values.

As part of this release, users can now enjoy end-user and performance enhancements for FlexGrid across all .NET platforms. According to Greg Lutz, product manager for the 2023 v1 release, No matter what kind of apps you are building, ComponentOne datagrids have you covered.
