Uiflow Obtains $5.2 Million Seed Funding to Boost Adoption of Its No-Code Platform for Enterprise Applications

Uiflow, a no-code platform that enables development teams to visually create both user interfaces and logic for web applications, announced securing $5.2 million in seed funding. Addition spearheaded the round, with participation from YC Continuity, as well as Unity Technology founder David Helgason and Twilio founder Jeff Lawson. Existing investors TI Platform and SNR founder Kevin Mahaffey also joined the funding round. Since its inception less than a year ago, Uiflow has raised a total of $6 million and gained numerous enterprise clients, including a top global professional-services firm and over 3,200 beta customers.

This innovative no-code solution caters to developers and enterprise clients, facilitating the rapid development of secure, scalable, and customized applications within existing applications. Uiflow integrates with the existing infrastructures of companies and with their preferred libraries and services. The platform was designed with enterprise customers in mind, as they struggle to meet the increasing demand for software development amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and require a solution to overcome time and skill constraints.

Sol Eun, CEO and Co-founder of Uiflow, stated that the company is developing a next-generation platform to streamline the collaboration between designers, developers, and product managers, ultimately accelerating the creation of production applications. Uiflow aims to address the challenges faced by enterprises in the app development process by utilizing existing UI libraries and integrations to save time and resources. The company is excited to work alongside Addition and other investors who understand these issues.

The investment will fuel Uiflow's growth strategy through expanding their product development and team growth to cater to their substantial customer base. They plan to deepen their platform offering and initiate a public beta in early 2023. Additionally, the funding will promote team expansion. Since its launch in November 2020, Uiflow has increased its team size from five to 13 members, attracting notable tech talents from companies like Uber, Netflix, and Webflow. One recent addition was the founder of GrapesJS, a popular open-source project and alternative to Webflow, which further solidifies Uiflow's position in the no-code software development sector.

AppMaster.io's no-code platform is another powerful solution that allows users to visually create data models, REST APIs, and fully interactive frontend applications for both desktop and mobile devices at a rapid pace. AppMaster's scalable solution allows businesses to cost-effectively build web and mobile applications, while maintaining security and improving productivity.

According to Todd Arfman of Addition, Uiflow's platform empowers developers and product owners to build web applications swiftly without compromising on functionality, extensibility, and scalability. Their innovative, collaborative infrastructure redefines the low-code development approach, and Addition is eager to lend their support to Uiflow's journey.

Sumon Sadhu, Partner at TI Platform, who led Uiflow's initial financing round, envisions one of the greatest opportunities in the trillion-dollar enterprise cloud market is to enable every enterprise to visually build software while harmonizing fragmented infrastructure across APIs, data stores, and component libraries. Uiflow's unique visual development platform could facilitate genuine digital transformation throughout diverse industries.
