8base revealed that the industry veteran, Oscar Perez, has taken up the position of Vice President of Operations and Finance within the company's executive leadership team. Perez will be responsible for guiding 8base in designing, implementing, and scaling operations to cater to a global ecosystem of developer end-users as it advances its blockchain-backed enterprise software development platform.

Before joining 8base, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of Ilumno International University, overseeing IT operations for over 600 learning centers catering to more than 250,000 students across Latin America. Perez also held the position of Vice President of Operations at CareCloud, a healthcare IT software company, during its rapid growth phase.
