This development was first observed by tech website Bleeping Computer, which carried out a test search for 'winver'. The test showed that the Bing AI appeared and provided relevant information, drawing from five sources complete with links. Additionally, a chatbox appeared, allowing users to continue interacting with the AI regarding the query.

The 'winver' command, when entered in Windows, prompts the operating system to reveal the exact version of Windows 11 or Windows 10 being used. The Bing AI efficiently explains this concept and more, which pops up at the top of the search results page.

In a trial run of Bing.com searches, the chatbot did not always appear for all queries but was accessible in some instances at the bottom of a top result with suggested questions. This allowed users to engage the AI in the conversation concerning the query further.

It seems Microsoft is in the early stages of integrating its ChatGPT-powered AI into Bing search results, with the chatbot appearing for a limited number of queries at present. Users will need to be signed up for the new Bing AI to benefit from this feature.

However, there are some concerns surrounding this development.
