Social Media Copywriter

What You’ll Be Doing:
Writing and editing all organic social assets for campaigns content for social channels and social assets
Creating engaging posts to correlate with content for all social channels, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
Optimizing social media posts (language, tone, call to action, comments, etc.) based on social goals and audience behavior
Understanding of greater landscape (software, SaaS, startups, including business model) to ensure on-brand content and engagement
Create engaging copy that meets overall brand and content strategy guidelines and helps to deliver social KPIS
Understanding of evolving social landscape and usage of social features i.e., hashtags, emojis, etc. to meet constantly changing algorithm/various social channels
Write social media engagement materials
Adhere to content strategy and brand guidelines and translate copy to be social-first to help deliver on KPIs
Work with creative and marketing professionals to capture business requirements/essence
Ability to apply learnings, quickly to increase awareness and deliver social KPIs
Support campaign development as needed

We’re excited if you have:
5+ years in digital marketing and/or social media copywriting
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or relevant field
Proven experience in social media and strong understanding of social verticals
Knowledge of and interest in technology, software, SaaS, startup trends
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
A keen eye for detail
Strong research skills and data-driven approach
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Highly organized and strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
